After completing a degree in Advertising and Marketing he decided to side-line his academic qualifications and pursue a career in musical theatre. Ten years performing professionally saw Daniel tread the boards at Butlins and then all the way to Shaftesbury Avenue in the heart of London’s West-End, performing in numerous UK tours and even the end of a pier along the way.
Having performed at most of the UK mainland theatres, Daniel took to the stage on sea with P and O Cruises where he travelled the world for 9 months.
When your passion is your career work never feels like work, so moving on from performing was a hard decision. However, connections within the television industry led him into sports broadcast where he now enjoys a varied work life as part of the broadcast team for the BBC and ITV on all major sports events including the Olympics, The Grand National and The Wimbledon Championships.
Alongside this high profile work he has also found time to cast and show develop for P&O Cruises, produce and direct pantomimes and also produce Prince's Trust events at the London Palladium, St James’s Palace and Buckingham Palace leading to a meeting with HRH The Prince of Wales.
Daniel is passionate about developing and nurturing the talents of the next generation of performers. He believes that, in a world of perceived instant fame the need to instil the discipline and dedication required to succeed in the world of entertainment has never been more important.
