Welcome to Starburst Foundation

We're a registered charity based in and around, Yateley, Hampshire. Through the focus of theatre and performing arts, we raise money to bring specialist equipment and services to children with additional needs and their familes.

Our Mission

The Starburst vision is to ensure that children with additional needs are given the opportunity to live a full and enriched life through providing specialised equipment.

Our Structure

Starburst is formed of four unique divisions, all working towards our common goal: To support local children with additional needs, and their families, whilst promoting arts and nurturing local talent.

Applications

Our applications division funds bespoke or specialised equipment to enable children to have a better quality of life, build self-esteem, improve confidence or assist with independence. We have helped hundreds of local families, schools and colleges in the area since our inception. We rely solely on funds raised by profits from Starburst productions, events and generous donations from local businesses and people in the local community.

Theatre

We produce several annual theatre performances including summer musicals and Christmas pantomimes, with all profits from which power our foundation. Be it performing, producing or stage managing, we have dedicated teams excited to work with new volunteers to show them the ins and outs of how we pull award winning productions together.

Academy

Starburst Theatre Academy was launched off the back of our award-winning theatre division. We aim to harness this success and pass it down to our students so they can enhance and develop their skills in every session. We develop childrens skills in performance via the media of dance, singing and acting over three terms of structured lessons, teaching core concepts and techniques throughout.

Studios

Starburst Foundation has completed a full renovation of Yateley Village Hall, turning it from a delapidated and neglected village hall, into a beautiful, well-equipped and modern community venue for Starburst events and local classes. Starburst Studios has a range of well finished rooms and studios available to hire at reasonable rates, along with hosting a range of dance classes teaching various styles for a range of ages every week.
