No, just come along on the day and you'll be taught all the required material. In some cases, some pre-preparation material may be provided for some shows, but this will be communicated with you.
That's completely fine! We welcome performers of all abilities. Auditions are about seeing your potential and enthusiasm. Our creative team will teach you everything you need during rehearsals.
Absolutely! Many of our performers started with no experience. Our supportive environment helps newcomers feel comfortable and develop their skills throughout the production process.
Please don't view this as a reflection of your talent. Our auditions are incredibly competitive and casting decisions are often based on a range of factors - we truly appreciate the time and effort you put into your audition. Please note that it is our policy not to provide individual feedback following auditions. There are also opportunities to join the crew and work backstage, or to volunteer with front of house. We always try to find a way to include people who want to be involved.
Rehearsals typically run on Sundays from 12pm - 6pm, and Thursday evenings. Show week involves evening performances and potentially matinees. Exact schedules vary by production and will be shared with you at auditions.
There's no cost to audition. Cast members pay a small show fee which helps towards the cost of costumes, scripts, and other production costs. Details are provided when you're cast in a show.
Whether it's your first audition or your hundredth, we can't wait to see what you bring to our productions. Join our theatre family today!
